Join us at this iconic Adelaide pub over the Easter long weekend and indulge with friends, family and loved ones. Enjoy food specials, happy hours and entertainment throughout the weekend.

The Mile End will be serving lunch, dinner and drinks throughout each day of the Easter long weekend, including Good Friday. Spend Good Friday at the Mile End and enjoy happy hour from 5-7pm, $10 cocktails from 6-9pm and retro vinyl tunes with DJ Stixx from 6pm til late. Then on Saturday and Sunday happy hour will be available from 2-6pm, as well as all day dining options and our $20 Sunday schnitty sesh deal. Additionally, we will also be open on Easter Monday serving delicious meals from 12pm.

Furthermore, catch up with friends over the Easter long weekend and indulge in some grazing plates or something delicious from our menu. Alternatively, on Easter Sunday relax in the beer garden whilst sipping on $10 cocktails during happy hour.

History of Good Friday

To commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his demise at Calvary, Good Friday is celebrated as a Christian religious holiday. The holiday happens during Holy Week and is considered as a part of Paschal Triduum on the Friday that comes before Easter Sunday. Good Friday is also known as Black Friday, Great Friday, or Holy Friday. Good Friday is a national holiday in many countries around the world, especially in the Anglican and Catholic nations.
